Welcome to the Recognizing an Adult Volunteer Interactive Enrichment. It is very important that we take the time to let our volunteers know they are appreciated. One way to do this is to nominate them for a Girl Scout Adult Volunteer Recognition.

We know that finding the right type of recognition for a certain type of volunteer service can be difficult. It can also be confusing, some of the recognitions are approved by the Service Unit, others by the Board of Directors, and you can even do some recognizing on your own. This means some need more forms than others, different forms go to different places, and some don’t need any forms at all. Not to mention trying to find the correct forms to nominate someone. For this very reason we have developed this tool to help simplify the process of finding the right type of recognition for that special adult volunteer.

When you click on the button to the left you will be taken to the "Finding the Right Recognition" page that will list seven of the most common types of volunteer services that would warrant a recognition from you, a Service Unit, or the Council. All you have to do is click on the type of service that best fits the adult you would like to recognize and it will give you a picture and description of the recognition or recognitions that would be suitable for that type of volunteer service. We have even included links to the forms you will need so all you will have to do is click on the form and print it.
