Who is Eligible for Nomination?

For consideration as a Woman of Distinction, a woman must demonstrate, through career and/or volunteerism, a life philosophy that parallels the mission of the Girl Scout movement.

Girl Scouting promotes leadership, responsibility, and decision-making enhancing girls' self-confidence and helping them become resourceful community and business leaders.

Please go to our Women of Distinction Honor Roll to view a list of our past award winners. You will see the names of women who have exemplified excellence in business, education, volunteerism, philanthropy and/or leadership.

Guidelines and Submission Deadline

If you know someone within your business, organization or community deserving of consideration as a Woman of Distinction, download the guidelines and nomination form. The deadline for submission as a 2008 Woman of Distinction is August 17, 2007.
