Girl Scouts of Mitten Bay is a 501 (C) (3) organization.
All gifts are tax deductible as charitable contributions.
 

Your family gift to Girl Scouting is a gift for all girls. All activities girls participate in are subsidized by Mitten Bay.

Examples:
Ø A day program event fee paid by a girl ($7.00) covers less
    than 1/6 of the event's total cost per girl! ($41.00)

Ø Girl Scouts of Mitten Bay spent $223.85 per girl to provide
Ø the Girl Scout program in 2004-2005.

Ø 95% of the cost of operating council-owned program
Ø facilities is absorbed by the council.

Unlike the $10.00 membership registration fee, which is sent directly to Girl Scout of the U.S.A., all contributions to Gifts for Girls stay right here in your council and support programs designed for and by your girls.
