While attending a class offers you diverse experiences and the camaraderie of other leaders, we also offer Online and Home Study options. See the Required Adult Training and Training Options sheet from the 2008 LEAP Guide for more information.

I AM NEW...
WHERE DO I START?

By March 31^st of the appointment year, new leaders and co-leaders are required to complete

1. New Leader Welcome to Girl Scouts of Mitten Bay
2 Hour Introduction to Our Council

2. Basic Orientation to Girl Scouts
(3.5 hr. Training)
(Available Online and by Home Study too!)

3. Girl Scout Level Training
(3.5 hr. Training)
(Daisy, Brownie, and Junior Programs Available by Home Study too!)

Within the first year of appointment, new leaders and co-leaders are required to complete:

4. Troop Trip and Activity Training

Within the first year of appointment, new leaders and co-leaders or another registered adult group helper are required to complete:

5. First Aid and CPR Training

My Troop Bridged.
What Do I Need?

After bridging to a new level, troop leaders and co-leaders are required to complete:

3. Girl Scout Level Training
(3.5 hr. Training)
(Daisy, Brownie, and Junior Programs Available by Home Study too!)

My Troop Wants to
go Camping.
What Do I Need?

Before having a cookout or going camping, troop leaders and co-leaders are required to complete:

6. Basic 8 Outdoor Skills
(8.5 hr. Training)
